The Past Vs The Present – Anita’s Incredible Past Life Regression Story

My first time doing regression therapy professionally was an unexpected, unforgettable experience to say the least. While over the decades, I’ve been privileged to assist many hundreds of people unlock the hidden, fascinating journeys of their past (both in this life and previous lives), the following incredible story highlights just how much how our past can impact on the present…

Back in the early ‘80s, Anita came into my office in serious pain, her back in spasm.

“I can’t stand this pain,” she said. “Can you help me?”

I had before me a perfect opportunity to see if I could help Anita with some hypnotherapy. Although I had done my formal therapist training, I was yet to actually offer my skills out, let alone to someone in such crisis. Still, I was desperate to try to help her. Anita proved to be a wonderful subject for hypnosis; within a few minutes she was in a deep trance and out of pain. I knew, however, that there was more to it.

“Where does your pain come from?” I asked.

My technique was still a little raw but it worked. Anita began to describe life as a young teenage Aboriginal girl. She found herself walking along a familiar forest trail, enjoying the smells of the bush, when she was suddenly startled by loud banging noises. She began to run toward her village and as she came over a hill, she looked down to see her people being shot by white men (the banging came from the muskets, a sound that she had never heard.)

Terrified, she stood frozen to the spot. One of the attackers saw her and ran toward her. He grabbed her; at this point, she woke out of her shock and began to wriggle, slipping from her attackers grasp. She began to flee.

“I’ll get you, you black b***h,” he yelled as she ran.

Bang. He fired his gun and shot her in the back.

She lay on the ground bleeding, in terrible back pain, fear, confusion and anguish and slowly died (the cause of Anita’s back pain could now be explained). “The gun had a big end on it,” she said (I presumed this to be a scatter gun or blunderbuss).

As she left her body, the fear and anguish stayed with her for some time. She floated above her village and saw the result of the attack: many had died, others were kept as slaves and some of the young woman as sexual slaves. She was alarmed that the ones that still lived couldn’t hear her. Gradually the scene faded and she moved slowly up into the worlds beyond.

After she had adjusted to her new space, I attempted to bring Anita forward to just before she entered her body for her current life. She became extremely agitated and defiantly said, “No way - I am NOT going back down there ever again.” She was clearly very distressed.

After some minutes I said, “Well why did you come if you didn’t want to be here?” (Not the most appropriate question for a therapist!)

“Because I had to learn about hate,” Anita replied after considering my question for a few minutes.

“They (her parents in this life) hate each other.”

She remained in an agitated state for some time, until finally she found herself surrounded by wise beings who gently explained to her the purpose of her life in coming back again and why she herself had actually chosen this life (at this point, she said she could not disclose the bulk of what was said to her).

The net result was that she came reluctantly into her current life, which she described as hell.

At this point, I decided to end the session as Anita had been under for over an hour. When she came out of the hypnotic state, she had no back pain whatsoever. It took her several minutes to have the courage to move, for she feared the pain would return. It never did.

As we discussed what had happened, Anita gave me further insight into her life.

“My father is dead. I hated him and he hated me. I left home when I was 15 years old to escape him (Anita was now 35 years old).

“Some years ago, I received a call from my mother saying that my father was dying and if I wanted to see him, that I should do it soon. He was fading quickly and mumbling incoherently. My initial reaction was ‘he can rot in hell’, but after further thought, I decided to visit him.

“As soon as I walked through the door, he took one look at me, sat upright in the bed and clearly said, 'I’ll get you, you black b***h'."

The exact words he had said to her before.

The nurse explained his behaviour by saying he was on morphine and not to take any notice of his words.

Anita now understood and knew that the man who had shot her in the back in her previous life was her father in this current life.

“He died that very evening. Now, after the regression, it all makes sense.”

Nothing was resolved between father and daughter in this life, yet Anita - as a result of her therapy - had set herself free and wouldn’t need to encounter her father again, at least not in the same circumstances.

This was my first ever regression as a therapist and I was blessed to have such a wonderful subject and a remarkable result.

Blessings to you all.

Peter.

The Council Of 12 On Euthanasia & Life Ending

I recently received a question from Trish on Facebook about what The Council Of 12’s thoughts are on euthanasia. It was such a great question and part of a larger subject I’ve found myself discussing of late, so wanted to share with you some thoughts, as it is important to understand this sensitive issue.

The Council of 12 view euthanasia in the same manner as they view suicide - they say euthanasia or suicide breaks the contract that you made before you came into this life.

In other words, people who willingly end their life break a cosmic law.

Before we are born, we gather with those Souls that are part of the group that we are in and work out how we can help each other and what lessons we will have to learn. Have you noticed how the most difficult people in your life teach you the greatest lessons? And how the most challenging times also hold the most valuable lessons? We have all heard the saying “What doesn’t break you, makes you”.

When the going gets tough and people feel they can’t take anymore, they may commit suicide or end their life before it would naturally end; they break the agreement they have made with their Soul group.

If they do take this path and end their journey prematurely, then they find themselves with some contract time unfinished. The Council of 12 have told us that our contract must be fulfilled; if it’s not, and you finish your life prematurely, your Soul has to return, reborn into a new body to complete the unfinished time it still had to go.

Those people will come back and live a life that will consist of the remaining years of the unfinished time of the previous life. This explains a good number of cot deaths; the individual concerned may have only had a few hours, days, weeks or months left, so they will live that long and die.

It also explains (but this is not the only reason) why many die young and are suddenly gone. Of course, those they have left have their own lessons in dealing with the grief/loss/sadness of losing a loved one.

In my experience as a hypnotherapist, I have noted that once a pattern of suicide/euthanasia begins, individuals tend to do it again in their next life. When the pressure comes on (as it will, for no-one can escape the lessons that they have chosen for themselves to learn), they tend to take a pathway that is familiar. So therefore, each following life gets shorter and shorter, until all of the contract time is complete.

A 15-year-old was sent to see me by her mother, after a suicide attempt. During her regression work, she revealed that she had taken her life at the same time in five previous lives.

When she reached around 15 years, the emotional pressure became too much, and again and again in each life she chose what became a more and more familiar pathway.

Her problem was that she was sent back immediately into the next life. This is the same for all who cut their life cycle short, whether it be suicide or euthanasia - they have to come back immediately, they have no chance to pause, as most do when they pass over, and review their life and reassess what comes next.

Since they haven’t completed their last cycle, this must be done before any assessment of future cycles can begin. The young girl who attended my office was helped to release a good deal of the stored emotion and given a broader understanding of her pattern. This hopefully would enable her to complete the cycle she had begun, and thus stop the short-cutting pattern she had become trapped in.

In summary, as hard as life may get, don’t shortcut your cycle, for you escape nothing. It’s rather like jumping from the frying pan into the fire; it only makes it worse and prolongs the progress of your Soul.

There are neither right things nor wrong things in life - we will all get where we need to. There are, however, better and healthier choices. When you get stuck, ask for some help, hang in there and you will come through the storms of life better, clearer, more understanding of yourself and others.

These principals and choices form part of the core learnings of The Soul & The Ego workshop series we conduct with The Council Of 12 and have helped the many that have attended tremendously. If you’re interested in attending the next series in 2013 (dates to be announced soon), get in touch via the contact page or sign-up to the mailing list to be notified of when registration will commence.

Many blessings,

Peter.

Tips On Manifestation: Past Lives, Soul & Ego

You manifest what you vibrate, and what you vibrate is governed by the collection of impressions gathered from this life and all the lifetimes you have lived.

Most people cannot recall their past lifetimes the very good reason that they may not be ready to deal with what they did before. They may also misinterpret their actions from those previous lives. For an example in a previous life, I recalled losing a daughter; she drowned in a flood. In my grief, I sought consolation from the local shaman, who told me to look into a pool of water and see the reason I had lost her. In doing so, I saw an earlier life as an where as an Aztec priest, I had sacrificed children to appease the Gods. When I saw this I was deeply shocked. The shaman explained I was being punished for this by losing my daughter. Seeing this, I recoiled completely into guilt and lived the rest of that life in deep remorse.

What the shaman didn’t have the vision/knowledge to see was that as the Aztec Priest, I was performing the tribe a great service, for without the sacrifice there would be no crops and people would starve. As the priest, I carried no guilt or remorse. I was proud to have been in that position; it was a great privilege and the children and their families were greatly honoured to be chosen.

What in one society was a great crime, in another was an honourable role.

This is the principal reason why we block our memory of past lives; we would likely only misinterpret what in one time is normal if we were consciously aware of those lives and all their detail (this is something that has only come to me in my current life, where I have developed greater knowledge and understanding).

My life after that point was a manifestation - by me - as the result of a false thought impression (guilt) given to me by one with partial knowledge.

By sorting out the guilt issues we carry from this and other lifetimes, by freeing ourselves from fear, by gaining a deeper knowledge, by regaining our power and understanding of ourselves, we can begin to become the creators of our destiny.

There are two types of manifestation:

1) ego-based manifestation, and
2) soul-based manifestation.

The type of manifestation that we see most in life is ego-based manifestation. Those of you who are familiar with the book/DVD 'The Secret' will find if you look into it deeply, that most of it is ego-based manifestation, identified by the principal focus on material things. This is ego desire (not that there is anything wrong with this, if this is what you want). As a famous holy man once said “I give you what you want, so that you might want what I come to give you”. In order to get past desire, your need to fulfil your desire otherwise your desire will always be there. There are no wrong things - all things are opportunities to learn and grow. Ego-based manifestation through desire/focus will bring into being that which you seek. Be careful you don’t think ego-based manifestation is soul-based manifestation though; while all is part of the whole, ego-based manifestation will create a big swollen ego, whereas soul-based manifestation will create great humility and enormous gratitude.

Soul-based manifestation can only be with you when you have a deep yearning for things beyond the material world. Once you sort out your sense of worthiness, you will have the material abundance as well, if that is what you so desire.

Rules of manifestation:

1.    Be specific about what you want.
2.    Believe you deserve what you have asked for. If you are aware of any “I am not worthy” thoughts, look into and start to deal with these immediately.
3.    Meditate on success: see yourself as already having that which you seek.
4.    Make sure that you are clear on whether you manifestation is ego-based or soul-based and be aware of the potential ego building that ego-based manifestation will bring.
5.    Bless those that are involved in your exercise to manifest.
6.    Express gratitude to the universe for assisting you in achieving your manifestation
7.    Smile lot for this simple act manifests MORE SMILES.

Happy manifesting.

Peter.

Are You Wired For Abundance Or Lack Of Abundance?

Our belief system is wired for either abundance or lack of abundance or something in between. Most people are programmed for lack - these individuals struggle and never quite find the abundance in life that they seek. As a result of their conditioning, their central unconscious belief is that they don’t deserve. These beliefs create their reality.

I recall reading the story of a fellow who “died” while on the phone during an electrical storm. He was carted off to hospital and pronounced dead on arrival. They wheeled the poor fellow into the corridor placed a sheet over his body and left him to be taken to the morgue.

However, he wasn’t dead - but his body was paralysed and he couldn’t move, so he floated around the ceiling, wondering what he should do. He knew once he was in the freezer, it was all over.

As he watched two young fellows coming to get him, he summoned up his focus, got back in his body and blew on the sheet over his face. The two young guys freaked out, rushed him into the theatre and he was revived.

While he was having his out of body experience, he had found himself in what described as a beautiful crystal city. As he walked along the road admiring the perfection of this celestial place, he noted these magnificent rays of violet light. His guide explained that these were the prayers of people on the earth. They had reached the highest place in the universe and only remained in a suspended place because the individuals who had asked for help didn’t believe that they deserved the help, so it never actually reached them.

The conditioning we carry has developed over time from the programs, people and situations we have been exposed to. These come from parents, forefathers, society, culture, schoolteachers, peers, siblings and past lifetimes; in fact everything that we have been exposed to in our history.

These imprints, which evolve into our personal beliefs, condition us and build our internal programs; our wiring for thought is born from these controls and creates our reality.

Many of us have come from parents and forefathers who struggled to survive to make ends meet. This means that for many of us, we too have ended up believing (either consciously or unconsciously) that this was all we deserved - our belief systems have been reinforced with LACK of abundance. Even if you have decided and think that you won’t mimic your predecessors history, you will still be controlled by it until you set about truly changing things.

The good news is that you can change anything you want to. If you are wired for lack, have decided it no longer serves you and want abundance, you must find a way of changing or ditching this wiring. You must reprogram your internal belief system. Go into it and have a deep look at your beliefs. Be honest with where you are. Set about changing your beliefs and your reality will change. You will likely find that an abundant belief system will serve you in a much better way.

Many blessings,

Peter

How Fear Blocks Faith

Faith is a knowing and a trusting that the universe will protect and guide you. Fear casts doubt on all things and when fear is active within you it invades every part of your being. There are small fears and large fears (which can led you into terror). For example, one person may be fearful of a large spider another may be terrified of the same spider.

All fear has its origin in our history; we learn it as a result of a previous experience. One lady who was terrified of spiders recalled under hypnotic regression that her older brother had placed spiders on her face while she slept as a young child. Another woman who had fear of men in intimate situations relived being inside her mother womb when her father punched her mother in the stomach trying to bring on an miscarriage. He didn’t want another child. In the light of this information, it is easy to understand these individual's current fears. By bringing these buried memories to the surface, these embedded fear patterns dissolve and the fear evaporates.

However, there is a core fear that most people often carry. If you are like me, you may not even realise that you have this fear. This fear can infiltrate every fibre of your being and all other fear, like those mentioned above, loaded on top of the core fear. I have, while on my journey of self-discovery, overcome many fears and become stronger and more confident as a result. However, one day not that long ago, I found myself engulfed by an avalanche of fear, way beyond any fear I had previously experienced. During a meditation, I relived a past life experience as a young woman living in what was Malaya during the latter stages of WW2. I was shot by the Japanese for hiding an American airman, who had been shot down. I died in terror and great shame. The terror was from knowing I was to be executed; the shame/guilt from letting my fellow villagers down, some of whom were also executed before my eyes. I returned to my current life as Peter some six years later and brought the overwhelming fear with me.

By recalling the all-pervading fear of that past life, I became acutely aware that I had unknowingly carried this core fear with me throughout my current life. As a result of becoming aware and feeling the fear, I felt as if I had been dismantled; the old me was totally shattered and I didn’t know who I was anymore. Yet another part of me knew I simply had to ride it through. I wrote out my past emotion. I yelled, I ranted and raved. In short, I worked at releasing the fear. Bit by bit, something began to surface; pieces began to emerge. I knew that I was now different, yet I couldn’t explain what or how. I began to see everything in a different light. The old ego -  that had protected me by suppressing these past memories and kept me safe - was shattered and something else from the depths of my being began to emerge. I was more 'me' than I had ever been. Faith was expanding where the fear had been. And so my journey continues...

Peter.
